in the 19th century , the church is today again a place of worship.
The Wartburg − connected with the Bible translation of the reformer
Martin Luther and the charity of the holy Elizabeth of Thuringia.

buildings from the era of the Romanesque north of the Alps.
The former minster St. Peter and Paul in Erfurt was erected in the
12th century as a widely visible symbol of the Hirsau reform movement

center for local art and culture.
Even Goethe and Schiller were impressed by the Benedictine monastery
of Paulinzella. The ensemble of the 12th century was closed during the
reformation period. Later it served as a hunting domicile. Until today
the building complex has not lost anything of its charm.
